Jeremy Camp is an American contemporary Christian music singer and songwriter from Lafayette, Indiana, and he is one of our key artists here at The Power Station. Since launching his musical career in 2000 Jeremy has released 11 studio albums. His original music is a mixture of ballads and up-tempo songs with rock influence.
With 40 No. 1 singles over his storied career, “Dead Man Walking” is a refreshing first-look into Jeremy Camp’s next album, due later this year, and is marked by some of his most vulnerable and transparent music to date.
The song “Dead Man Walking” is based on the scripture Colossians 2:13-14. It speaks of our lives before Christ as being ‘dead.’ There was a time I felt emotionally and spiritually dead, but then God changed me radically,” said Jeremy. “That is why I’m excited to share ‘Dead Man Walking’ – because it’s a song of thankfulness that even though I was once a ‘dead man walking’ I’m now a man ‘walking with God.’
